5.2.4 Serial Port Operation with PROCOMM PLUS

As is shown in Figure 5-12, a number of serial port diagnostic commands are available for the

user in the ‘Serial Port Menu’.

Note: The menu commands and screens that the user sees in PROCOMM present the same

menu selection options as those presented in Windows HyperTerminal.

5.2.4.1.1 ‘?’: Show Serial Port Service Utility Key Assignments Menu

This command will display a list of functions as shown in Figure 5-12. If using the SCSI-

FC Router in a distance solution, please note that functions that appear on the screen in

Figure 5-12 are utilized with the host router (SCSI-FC Router H). This is also the screen

that will appear if the router is being used as a connectivity device. Figure 5-13 shows

the menu that appears for use by the device router (SCSI-FC Router D).
